AUSPROOF WELCOMES EXPANSION WITH COGITA AND EPICOR 9 ERP |

 AusProof is a well established Australian company providing high quality couplings predominately to the mining industry. Whilst historically an Australian focused business, AusProof have recently expanded their market to include some overseas projects. AusProof have been successful with their expansion primarily due to the high quality of couplings they manufacture compared to competitor’s products.
The expansion is welcomed and it has required a more comprehensive ERP system be implemented to meet the expectations of the Ausproof growing customer base.
In line with developing new markets, AusProof also plan to store stock in three new overseas locations in order to deliver a faster and improved service to their customers. AusProof also plan to become less reliant on third party parts suppliers and are developing new manufacturing processes and parts to gain greater control over the manufacturing quality, time and process. The increase in manufacturing of direct elements necessitated the investment in the Epicor 9 infrastructure.
AusProof decided that in order to continue with their expansion and success they needed to invest in new technology to simplify the process of manufacturing. AusProof primarily wanted a new system:
- to be scalable to meet new challenges,
- to be as simple as possible for end users to adopt and change as and when required, and
- that is easy to implement, minimising the risk of failure.
