Epicor ERP 9.05
Epicor 9.05 is now ready to help customers take advantage of the changing economic tide with a new major release. Epicor 9.05 will ensure that the lessons learned during the recent economic downturn are not forgotten, by providing customers with a platform for:

Epicor have responded to research by Forrester Research, Inc. Respondents in small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) said their top business goals are cost reduction and recovery from the downturn. “Similar to large firms, SMBs consider cost reduction in their core business to be a No. 1 priority. The new release of Epicor ERP 9.05 —available today in more than 50 countries —delivers functional improvements, enhancements and new modules across every suite within the solution, including Epicor ICE business architecture. Updatable Dashboards Are So Hot
At the April 2010 Epicor ANZ Perspectives held on the Gold Coast, there was universal excitement when the updatable dashboards were presented as part of the introduction of 9.05. Updatable Dashboards are more than just exception reporting or KPI’s. There are many applications – for example,
- Choose how and where you wish to work or update the system from. An existing order or a grid of orders can now be updated on an iPhone, via a web browser as well as in the Epicor ERP smart client.
- Bring in any function of the Epicor ERP service into Outlook or into a webpage.Use the Updatable Dashboard functionality to place updatable BAQs (Business Activity Queries) on either a client dashboard or a mobile device dashboard.
- Resize the screen for your mobile device at a click of a button and deploy the dashboard to the mobile giving exception reporting on the fly.
- Enter Data through a Business Activity Query (BAQ). Create a list of items you wish to easily update and be able to retain the system integrity whilst doing a quick update from a list.
